As a fan of the original Power Rangers, I’m curious to see how this reboot is going to come out.  Today we get to see Elizabeth Banks in all out Rita Repulsa costume thanks to EW.

 

Quite a dramatic change to the look, but hey it’s a new generation I’ll keep my mind open for this one. Let’s just hope it doesn’t turn out into another TMNT debacle.

Power Rangers team will be led by Jason (Red Ranger) played by Dacre Montgomery. Naomi Scott as Pink Ranger and Kimberly Hart, Becky Gomez as Trinity the Yellow Ranger, Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger, and RJ Cyder as the Blue Ranger. Looking at the cast, I see there’s a lot of potential, but one thing does stand out to me…could it be the colors don’t match the stereotypes…come on we all thought it.

As far as we know for the story, “A group of high-school kids, who are infused with unique superpowers, harness their abilities in order to save the world.”  No real detail on where they are going with this.
