Saban’s Power Rangers just released its latest image of the updated suits. Last week we all got our first taste of Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks), while most did not love the new look were were still optimistic to see what we will get. The new suits themselves look like they have a glowing core in them.

Power Rangers team will be led by Jason (Red Ranger) played by Dacre Montgomery. Naomi Scott as Pink Ranger and Kimberly Hart, Becky Gomez as Trinity the Yellow Ranger, Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger, and RJ Cyder as the Blue Ranger. Looking at the cast, I see there’s a lot of potential, but one thing does stand out to me…could it be the colors don’t match the stereotypes…come on we all thought it.

As far as we know for the story, “A group of high-school kids, who are infused with unique superpowers, harness their abilities in order to save the world.”  No real detail on where they are going with this.

Power Rangers morphs into theaters March 24, 2017.

The original Mighty Morphing Power Rangers was about a closeknit band of teenagers in fictional Angel Grove, Calif., transforms into a uniformed team of superheroes ready to take on any villains. Their primary focus is Rita Repulsa, a space villainess captured long ago by the wise sage Zordon and inadvertently freed by astronauts. Zordon recruits the teens to help him recapture Rita, and later to battle against Lord Zedd, Rito Revolto, and Master Vile.
