We are so thrilled to report that former Disney Princess turned S.H.I.E.L.D. director Ming Na Wen is adding the Disney triple crown to her belt, as she is a part of Jon Favreau’s “Star Wars” original series for Disney+, “The Mandalorian”.

Announced today during the Disney Legends Ceremony, House of Mouse CEO Bob Iger threw us for a loop when, while introducing Ming Na Wen, he tossed in “now she’s joining Star Wars.”

It was unclear for the remainder of the ceremony what exactly her heading to a galaxy far, far away meant, perhaps animation?

Luckily for all of us, she cleared that up on the red carpet while speaking to SYFYWire, (and we also got it confirmed from one of our own sources).
