There are few truly GIANT film personalities who continue on, the biggest of course being King Kong. Biggest? Get it? Far from the days of his paw clutching at Faye Wray, from romancing Jessica Lange, laughing at Naomi Watts, Kong meets a new crop of humans.
This brand new trailer was JUST released for the 13th film about the King:

Pretty much all we know about the film other than the obvious tropes (big ape, explorers, skulls, an island) we have this official synopsis to go on:
“In the 1970s, a team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific—as beautiful as it is treacherous—unaware that they are crossing into the domain of the mythical giant gorilla known as Kong.“
Kong: Skull Island stars Tom Hiddleston (Thor, Crimson Peak), Oscar winner Brie Larson (Room, Captain Marvel), John Goodman (10 Cloverfield Ln, Blues Brothers 2000), and Samuel L Jackson (Pulp Fiction, Hateful Eight). Jordan Vogt-Roberts (You’re the Worst) is on board to direct this feature for Legendary Pictures and Warner Brothers Entertainment.
Holy crap these posters are gorgeous. The first was posted to Twitter today by Hiddleston, and the second by Larson:
If you haven’t seen it yet, here is the SDCC 2016 trailer from July:
