More reasons to be excited for the upcoming film reboot of “Mortal Kombat”- we’re getting fatalities and an R-rating!

According to Greg Russo (who will be penning the script for the Simon McQuoid-directed, James Wan-produced film), the plan is for this particular reboot film to feature the gory finishing moves made infamous throughout the franchise’s 27-year history.

Since it's already been stated by other members of the team, I'm gonna put this one to bed. Okay okay, but what if we ALSO get the brutality finishes? Or babalities?!

Warner Bros. Pictures already has a release date of March 5th, 2021 set for the film, and we just got our first confirmation of casting earlier this week, with Joe Taslim playing Sub-Zero.

Obviously, we’ll let you know what we hear about this film.
