Screen Shot 2014-08-14 at 11.04.23 AMMetal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima is teaming up with filmmaker and Guillermo del Toro (Pacific Rim, Hellboy) to make Konami’s next Silent Hill game, which will star The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.

The announcement that ‘Silent Hills’ is in the works was made in the form of interactive teaser trailer which is now available on the PlayStation Store. I’m not going to spoil anything for you so if you can, experience it for yourself.

For those confused, this was actually the cryptic P.T. demo Sony directed curious gamers towards at its Gamescom press conference. P.T. was teased as a mysterious horror game in development from the completely fabricated ‘7780s Studio.’

Kojima, the King of the Long Con, has actually been teasing this project for quite some time. The last Silent Hill game, Book of Memories, was released in 2012 for the PlayStation Vita. An HD collection which compiled Silent Hill 2 and 3 was released that same year for PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

There is no word yet as to console exclusivity but my bed is that the PS4 version will look just slightly better. Check out the trailer below and if you’re in for a scare…go download the interactive teaser.
