Finally, Bethesda gave us a real look at Dishonored 2With a full grown Emily Kaldwin, players will get a chance to play as both her and the last game’s main character, Corvo. Aside from gameplay changes, the game now has a butterfly effect with the things you accomplish having real consequences on how the game plays. The detail of the world is now something to really be showcased, aiming to better convey the story and atmosphere embodied in the first game. Dishonored 2 has got a brand new new game engine as well: The Void engine.  And then there’s the whole new array of powers to play with.Dishonored2_Body_EN_730x422

The “domino” power looks like it could play well with other powers, it’s the introduction of a time-traveling element to both solve puzzles and get past enemies that really shines. It’ll be interesting to see how Bethesda handles these new elements when there’s so much death to be had.

Players will be able to pick and choose between two factions (or even neither of them), while the game also seems to focus itself on the pacing which was slightly less the case with the first game. We hope to have more details later this week here at E3. Until then, check out the trailer below:
