Once again Her Universe has burst onto the SDCC scene with a runway show sponsored by Hot Topic and Blondie Girl to rival fashion week. The runway show featured 25 designers competing for the opportunity to collaborate on a clothing line for Hot Topic.

Judging this year’s show are last year’s winners, Andrew MacLaine (Regina’s Curse) and Amy Beth Christenson (Great Skirt, Marty). They are joined by singer/songwriter, voice actress and designer Traci Hines, Senior VP of Merchandising and Marketing for Hot Topic Cindy Levitt, and Sony Pictures Television Manager of Licensing and Merchandising Jessica Nubel.

Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein dazzled the audience over the course of the evening with three different gowns all designed by Andrew MacLaine.

Leetal Platt was the Audience Choice this year as her Sailor Moon inspired “Usagi’s Transformation” wowed  with a mid-runway change.

Kelly Cercone’s elegant and impeccably constructed Joker’s New Look won Judge’s Choice.
